Copenhagen Zoo’s new panda house – designed by Bjarke Ingels

The two pandas have finally arrived at Copenhagen Zoo. The new panda house was inaugurated in April by Danish Queen Margrethe II. Danish starchitect Bjarke Ingels designed the new home for the two bears from China.

The panda house is shaped like the Chinese yin and yang symbol, describing how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary. The panda house accommodate two bears, who are being relocated from Chengdu, China.
